In order to help the science and education of Tianjin City, talent strong city strategy, the implementation of the school's "14th Five-Year Plan" tasks, and promote the level of scientific research, on March 8 and March 10, the School of Biotechnology and Food Science organized two face-to-face guidance and consultation meetings of experts from the National Natural Science Foundation of 2024。

According to the proposed research direction of the teachers, the School invited Professor Guo Qingbin from Tianjin University of Science and Technology and Professor Xie Songbo from Tianjin Medical University to conduct pre-evaluation of the teachers' project applications。Professor Guo Qingbin and Professor Xie Songbo have presided over the completion of National Natural Science Youth Foundation projects and National Natural Science Foundation projects. They are experts who have participated in the National Natural Science Foundation for many years and have rich experience in the application of National Natural Science Foundation。After carefully reviewing the application and listening to the applicant's report, the experts put forward specific suggestions on the innovation of the title of the application, the content and writing skills of the abstract, the extraction of scientific problems, and the logic and rigor of the design of the research program。The project applicant had an in-depth discussion with the guidance experts about the confusion existing in the process of writing the declaration。

The expert guidance meeting achieved good results, effectively improved the writing level of the college teachers' declaration, stimulated the enthusiasm of teachers to participate in the application of scientific research projects, and effectively promoted the college's annual National Natural Science Fund project application。The College will implement a plan to enhance the scientific research ability of young teachers, and take multiple measures to stimulate the enthusiasm and vitality of teachers, especially young teachers, for scientific research, and inject impetus into the high-quality development of the college。(Reviewer: Zhu Jing)
